Case Study 2 - AgnewCorporate.com

Agnew Corporate has been the leading Corporate Car Hire Service Provider in Northern Ireland since 1995 and subsequently expanded to provide their unique service throughout the entire United Kingdom . Their initial website was developed in 1999 and had been lying dormant since then with minimal updates. We met with Agnew Corporate in September 2004 to determine what direction they wanted their website to go in.

 

Agnew Corporate wanted a website that not only looked contemporary, but one that also provided a tangible benefit to their customers, so it could be leveraged to provide a competitive edge. Combined with servicing existing customers, it needed to showcase their current products and services and provide an entry point for new customers to request a quote.

Existing Customers

For existing major customers, the brief was to reduce the need for the customer to manually request reports specific for their business, such as Company fleet reports and Renewal Vehicle reports. Illand.co.uk tailored a solution to fit Agnew Corporate which allowed them to redirect their customers to their website, where they could request a personal username and password and access their own current reports online.

New Customers

It was important that an online quoting system was immediate and that all details required would be collected, so a sales contact could work on the quote immediately. Agnew Corporate wanted to provide a personal touch. Any quotes input via the web should immediately notify the sales contact, so they could follow up with the customer to provide the best customer service possible. Illand.co.uk provided a tailored service which allows new customers to request a quote online, which automatically sends an SMS text message and an email to one, or multiple sales contacts to follow up the lead.

Additionally, Agnew Corporate wished to showcase new cars and vans, and ex-contract models to new and existing customers. Illand.co.uk provided a user friendly interface, whereby Agnew could update their current special offers database through a web browser. Special offers could be added with an automatic publish date and expiry date which ensured maintenance was simple and hassle free.

Prospective Employees

Agnew Corporate also wanted an area on their website where they could receive details of prospective employees. Although not actively recruiting at the time the site went live, this section of the website can be updated easily to provide details of future positions that may become available. It also allowed Agnew Corporate to build up a database of potential employees details, so when a position became available, they could check to see if any previous submissions met their current criteria.
